The year was 597 BC, the once glorious nation of Israel, now lay in ruins. God’s covenant people had turned their backs against Him, and were left to pay the price. The mighty Babylonian Empire led by King Nebuchadnezzar had descended upon Jerusalem, laying waste to their city, and their temple. The people were dragged from their homes, families, everything they’d known — and marched off into an unknown country, wondering, would they cast their eyes once more upon the land of promise, and most important; had God truly abandoned them? So how do we cling to the God of all faithfulness amidst this chaos? Thankfully that’s not a questions we’re left to answer. Join us as we delve into the lessons of the past, and apply them to our present. This is The Remnant.
